Ethical Associates Welcomes Dina Gang as New Associate

Ethical Associates Inc. is pleased to welcome Dina Gang as a full Associate of the firm, having completed all the requirements for admission to the practice of law.

The Law Society of Ontario confirmed last week that Dina had been formally admitted to the Ontario Bar. Dina is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and completed her articling year with Ethical Associates.

“We are delighted that Dina has accepted a position as an Associate with our firm,” said Milé Komlen, Managing Director of Ethical Associates Inc. “Dina has demonstrated an extraordinary ability to synthesize large amounts of information while understanding the sensitivities of individual human rights cases.”

Prior to working with Ethical Associates, Dina worked at a Toronto employment and human rights law firm in the summer of 2018, where she focused largely on human rights claims in the employment context and prepared tribunal applications before the HRTO.

Dina also worked part-time during law school for a former Vice-Chair of the HRTO, assisting with legal research, legal drafting, investigations, and report writing.

In her second year of law school, Dina worked at ARCH Disability Law Centre, where she worked with persons with disabilities to advance their human rights claims and helped staff lawyers with disability-related cases and research.

While pursuing her undergraduate degree at the University of King’s College in Halifax, Dina also served on the executive of King’s PRIDE and completed the Addictions Training Program: Building our Healthy Campus provided by the Nova Scotia Health Authority. She worked as a residence Don at Kings, where she supported students during times of interpersonal and mental-health related crisis and conflict.

Dina also served as an executive member of OUTLaws, an LGBT student group at Osgoode Law School, and as an executive member of Kulanu, a Queer Jewish organization.
