Alex Battick

He has represented racialized individuals in matters before courts and tribunals, and has participated in conflict resolution and anti-racism advocacy, and has regularly presented on topics relating to contemporary issues in the education system.

Ena Chadha is an equality rights lawyer and a former Vice-Chair of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (2007-2015). Ena holds advanced Alternate Dispute Resolution Certificates in Negotiations and Mediations, as well as a Certificate in Mental Health Law.

Faisal Bhabha

Mediator, Investigator, Adjudicator

Faisal Bhabha is an Associate Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Canada. He also serves as the Faculty Director of the Canadian Common Law LLM degree program. He has researched and published in the areas of constitutional law, multiculturalism, law and religion, disability rights, national security and access to justice. He teaches constitutional law, human rights, legal ethics, and appellate advocacy.

Brenda Culbert

Mediator, Investigator

Brenda Culbert is a human rights lawyer, mediator, and workplace investigator, having been called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1994 and the Bar of Ontario in 1996. She attended Western University where she earned both her undergraduate degree and her LL.B. degree. Brenda has primarily worked in the social justice public sector within the community legal clinic system and she was Senior Counsel at the Ontario Human Rights Legal Support Centre between 2008 and 2019. Brenda has also previously worked in the school board sector as part of a Human Rights and Equity Advisor initiative supported by the Ministry of Education where she conducted investigations into human rights complaints as a neutral.

Raj Anand

Raj has received lifetime achievement awards from the South Asian Bar Association, the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers, the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce and the Ontario Bar Association; the first Advocates’ Society Award of Justice; the Law Society Medal; an Arbor Award from the University of Toronto, a teaching fellowship from the Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights at the University of Toronto, and a McMurtry Fellowship at Osgoode Hall Law School.
